  3. Five Ashes Village Hall and Memorial Playing Field
Description:

Managed by: Trustees of the Five Ashes Village Hall.

The playing field at Five Ashes village hall extends to an area of about 1.6 Hectares (4 Acres). It is generally flat and people are regularly seen walking the perimeter of the field for light exercise. Completion of the perimeter circuit will record about 1000 steps. Along this route is a display of indigenous trees and information boards explaining their benefit to wildlife.
During the same period on a weekday evening the village stoolball team host matches with other league teams.
The Horticultural Summer show uses a large part of the field for its main event once a year.
Specifically, for use by children under the age of 11 are a number of pieces of play equipment contained within a protected area.
There is a dedicated garden area adjacent to the play area for any one who wishes to enjoy sensory stimulation particularly during the growing season.
Whilst car parking is prioritised for users of the hall, occasional visitors can usually be accommodated.
