Improving access to community pharmacies is one of the key objectives in the NHS ICT plans. See further details on the new Community Pharmacy website.
A new public facing website has been launched to provide information about several NHS services that pharmacies in England are providing. The website provides information on the following three NHS services:
• Pharmacy First Service;
• Blood Pressure Check Service; and
• Pharmacy Contraception Service.
There is a separate page for each of the services on the website providing information about the three services and there are links to the NHS website to find a pharmacy that offers the service.
The website also explains that patients have a right to choose which pharmacy they use to receive NHS services.

Active Wealden is a physical activity partnership commissioned by East Sussex County Council and One You East Sussex. The primary aim of the partnership is to increase physical activity amongst residents of Wealden.
The partnership brings together a variety of sport and physical activity organisations aimed to help people increase their levels of general activity. These organisations include community groups, sports clubs, private and public gyms, physiotherapists, health coaches, the NHS, and government organisations. The Active Wealden partnership works with partners to support and promote opportunities for residents to be more physical active across Wealden District, whilst raising the awareness of the impact of living a physically inactive lifestyle.
We look to help both residents and organisations to create a well-connected active population in Wealden.
Check back soon to explore the new Active Wealden website.
