Broad Oak Recreation Ground

Broad Oak Recreation Ground, is situated on the A265 and is adjacent to Broad Oak Village Hall, with a car park.

Buxted Millennium Little Wood

Nestling on the edge of Buxted village Littlewood boasts older Norway spruces either side of clumps of young native trees. Enjoy glimpses into the Wealden countryside and the sculpted Millennium seat.

Buxted Recreation Ground

Hidden away down Framfield Road, Buxted, this is also the home of Buxted FC. Can be accessed via parking at Buxted Surgery and walking across the field to the recreation ground. As well as the football pitch and pavilion the site also has a zip wire, cantilever swing and exercise equipment.

Cade Street Recreation Ground

Cade Street Recreation Ground is situated next to the Half Moon Inn Public House and has a children’s play area, multi play unit and war memorial site and has a car park.

Canada Green

A memorial garden dedicated to the Canadian soldiers shot down over Crowborough in World War II.

Chapel Green

Chapel Green is a Traditional Village Green for residents to enjoy. There is also a War Memorial to the side of Chapel Green where Crowborough commemorates Crowborough residents who have lost their lives in conflict. The War Memorial Policy below gives more information regarding those commemorated on the Memorial.

Crowborough Country Park

The Country Park is a 16 acre local nature reserve (LNR) set within the urban fringes of Crowborough in the area of Jarvis Brook. A diverse mosaic of habitats are present in the park including scrub woodland, remnant ancient coppice, wet marshy areas, streams, grassy and heathy glades, ponds, rock outcrops & slippages. The main stream on site runs through a steep rocky gorge before flowing through areas of ancient hazel and ash coppice and there is also a carpet of bluebells in the spring.

Crowborough Ghyll

A beautiful nature reserve, with woodland walks, natural streams and a car park. Located off either Silver Jubilee Recreation Ground or Burdett Road.

High Hurstwood Recreation Ground

Managed by: Buxted Parish Council. Situated opposite on the corner of Chillies Lane and Royal Oak Lane, High Hurstwood.
