Heathfield Skate Park

Managed by: Heathfield and Waldron Parish Council. The skatepark is situated at the south cutting to the Heathfield tunnel, Station Approach with ramps and a half pipe.

Heathfield Ghyll

Managed by: Heathfield and Waldron Parish Council The Ghyll is on the Green Lane Estate in Heathfield TN21 8YN and is accessed from Mulberry Way on the Green Lane estate and is a wooded area for walking.

Jubilee Park

Managed by: Heathfield and Waldron Parish Council Jubilee Park is located off Ghyll Road in Heathfield, TN21 OAG and has a wildflower meadow with native trees.

The Coppice

Managed by: Heathfield and Waldron Parish Council. The Coppice is on the Green Lane Estate, Heathfield and is accessed from either Woodland Way TN21 8JP or Elm Way TN21 8YH.

East Dean and Friston War Memorial Recreation Ground

The playing field has a cricket pitch and sports pavilion, a children's play area, a tennis court, and a five a side football goal. At the pavilion there is a plaque commemorating the discovery of the Beachy Head Woman, put up during the making of the Black Britain TV series. The woman lived nearby in Roman times but her DNA shows she came from sub-Saharan Africa.

Fletching Cricket Club

Recreation Ground which is used by Fletching Cricket Club and Fletching Stoolball Club.

Friston Village Green

The historic Friston Green has a pond which is a scheduled Ancient Monument and stands next to the Grade 1 listed Friston Church. A track leads down to the National Trust car park and it is possible to continue walking to the coast at Birling Gap.

Goldsmith Recreation Ground

A popular, spacious recreation ground with numerous facilities and fabulous views across the valley. Located behind Crowborough Freedom Leisure Centre, this recreation ground includes a café (open at limited times), toilets (open at limited times), play park, football pitches, athletics track, outdoor fitness equipment, open space, skate park, netball/basketball courts, petanque piste, boating lake, miniature railway and car park.

Harlands Farm Pond and Woodland

This is an old and valuable farm pond located within the Harlands Farm housing development. It has a very important toad pond and also contains population of the common frog and rather unfortunately, a great number of goldfish as well as coots, moorhens and heron, waiting to grab a tasty snack.
